UBOM provides 2 types of medical assistance for its Sangha members. Monastics who are Sangha members of UBOM are welcome to apply for either one of these medical assistance.
This group insurance coverage provides financial assistance to eligible Sangha members in case of critical illnesses such as cancer, stroke, heart attack, kidney failure, and more.
This medical aid provides financial assistance to eligible Sangha members who are suffering from critical illnesses such as cancer, stroke, heart attack, kidney failure, and more. This medical aid is to cover necessary medical expenses up to RM5,000 per year (subject to UBOM’s approval).
