The United Buddhist Order of Malaysia (UBOM) was founded with the mission to serve all Buddhist organizations in Malaysia, prioritizing their collective well-being. It is guided by the monastic communities of the Thai Forest Tradition under the Theravada Buddhist Tradition. UBOM aims to foster cooperation among Buddhists, thereby enriching the Buddhist faith and preserving the teachings of the Lord Buddha.
You can join UBOM as a member, attend our events, volunteer in our initiatives, or help spread our mission and vision to others.
UBOM promotes collaborations through sharing resources, including knowledge, talent, expertise, information, and tangible resources. We organize events that bring together Buddhists from diverse backgrounds and traditions.
Anyone who supports the mission and values of UBOM, including individuals and Buddhist organizations from various traditions, can join.
By joining UBOM, you become part of a collective effort to propagate the Dhamma Vinaya, ensuring the continued growth and prosperity of Buddhism. Members can participate in various events, access shared resources, and contribute to a thriving Buddhist community.
UBOM organizes a variety of activities and events, including Dhamma talks, meditation retreats, mega merit-making projects, and inter-Buddhist organisations events, to promote fellowship and cooperation among different Buddhist traditions.
UBOM is a non-profit organisation supported by donations from the public and contributions from its members. We rely on the generosity of individuals and organizations who believe in our mission.
UBOM focuses on the study, practical application, and propagation of the Dhamma Vinaya. We provide a platform for sharing knowledge and resources, and we emphasize the importance of mental cultivation through Sīla, Samādhi, and Paññā.
