Sukhavana Meditation Monastery 樂苑寺

Sukhavana Meditation Monastery is a Buddhist monastery in the Theravada Thai Forest tradition inspired by Ajahn Chah. It’s located in Bercham Cave, lpoh, Perak, Malaysia. The current abbot is Luangpor Thongbai, who’s preceptor is Phra Ajahn Gunhah Sukhakamo.

The monastery provides opportunities for people to cultivate good, avoid evil & purify the mind; to develop sila (virtue), samadhi (concentration) & panna (discernment), the path to liberation from samsara, the uncertain rounds of birth, aging, sickness , death & rebirth. May our practice leads us to see Dhamma, things as they truly are and attain freedom from dukkha
