位于槟城的文叻沙森林寺院（Vihara BoonRaksā Forest Monastery，VBR）是达玛尤特森林传统（Dhammayut Forest Tradition）的一部分，为精神修炼提供了一个宁静的圣地。它支持僧俗两众修持 "檀那"（慷慨）、"舍罗"（道德行为）和 "梵行"（心性修持），培养功德，以保护自己并迈向解脱。
福持寺是槟城首座依循泰国森林传承的寺院，坐落于宁静山坡，环绕在葱郁丛林中。寺院为僧团和居士提供布施、持戒和禅修的修行场所，旨在培养德行和护持善业，成为心灵的宁静绿洲。
